Welcome to a new year and a great finished to the old year with another excellent Christmas function and new memberships.  I have decided to resurrect our newsletter so that we can keep all members informed of our events.

Firstly I would like to thank all those who are on the committee for all the support you have given the club over the past 12 months.  Big welcome to Hubert DeGruslin for taking on the Treasurers role and a big thank you to John Windberg for look after the treasurers job for many years.

Some of  2007 highlights include two very successful Stamp, Coins and Banknote Fair, which was held at the Dudley Park Bowling Club.  I would also like to thank the Dudley Park Bowling Club for their continued support for Mandurah Philatelic Society.  Also thanks to the Perth Stamp dealers who come down and support this Fair , Daryl Adams, John McPhee and Mike Kouwen.

As usual, I would appreciate some assistance in compiling the newsletter.  Do keep any articles/comments coming in to us, details of unusual or interesting finds, interesting philatelic articles that you have read in a book or magazine and suggestions for things that you would like to read about.  I have also started a Whos Who at Mandurah Philatelic society page, so please write down a li bit about yourself so that we can include it in future news letters.
